Chapelfield Through the Year
Spring
Brings us a fine display of crocus and daffodils, and also the flowers on the specimen Paulownia tomentosa, the foxglove tree.
Summer
A time for picnics and sunbathing. On occasional Sundays a brass band provides a musical interlude.
Autumn
And a final display of colour before the trees shed their leaves.
Winter
When the gardens sleep, but if we are lucky, the gardens are transformed by a fall of snow.
